The Annual Scientific Sessions of the Sri Lanka Veterinary Association (SLVA) serves as the foremost platform for disseminating cutting-edge research, clinical advancements, and the latest scientific innovations in veterinary and allied fields. The theme for 2025, "Driving National Progress Through Veterinary Science: Collaboration, Innovation, and Sustainability," emphasizes the critical role of interdisciplinary collaborations between veterinarians, policymakers, and industry leaders in fostering sustainable solutions for animal health and advancing national development.

This year’s sessions will be organized under six thematic areas:

  1. Veterinary Clinical Sciences

  2. Animal Health

  3. Animal Production

  4. Wildlife and Aquatic Veterinary Medicine

  5. Veterinary Public Health

  6. Veterinary Educational Research

 

These thematic areas will highlight novel scientific methodologies, emerging trends in veterinary practice, and evidence-based approaches to animal health management. The sessions aim to enhance the scientific discourse, facilitate knowledge exchange, and recognize exceptional research contributions through awards and accolades.

We invite you to participate in this intellectually stimulating event, which promises to expand the frontiers of veterinary science, practice, and policy.
